Giroguies was created by a group of specialists in hiking, trekking, mountaineering, medicine and geography united by a same passion: to travel.  From 1998, after many years of experience travelling all around the world, we decided to share our experience and to put our professionalism within reach of all people eager to know different places from a different and more human way; savouring the details, being immersed in the colour,  scent and culture of the places that welcome them.

We provide a truly custom and personalized service, thus, we work with smaller groups. Before you commit yourself to trekking with Giroguies, we invite you to become acquainted with us personally; participate in our activities on security in the mountain, adventure medicine, orientation, supplies, etc. Get to know us and the way we work and then you can decide if you would like to trek with us.

Our services are not only directed to mountain experts, but are open to everyone.  We adapt ourselves to your needs, organizing a trip you can enjoy to the maximum.

We are hiking guides specialized in all the Pyrenees, Girona, Garrotxa and Emporda regions in Catalonia, Canary islands and Mallorca island... Lovers of adventure, we have organized and participated in numerous expeditions: The Himalayas (Everest, Cho-Oyu, Ladakh, Zanskar, Garwhal...); Karakorum; Andes (Aconcagua, summits of Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador...); Chile (Patagonia, Towers of the Paine...); Alaska (Mt. MC. Kinley...); Africa (Atlas, Mt. Kenya; Ruwenzori...) and many others.
